Field Camps

This topic includes information regarding the field camps offered in the Department of Geology and Geophysics at the University of Minnesota (UMN). UMN students have to take 6 weeks of field camp, thus they are taking the intro camp (3 weeks) and then one of the advanced camps for another 3 weeks, preferably during the same year.

Intro Camp

• 3 weeks duration
• 4 undergraduate credits
